About
Built by people who've sat in the data room.
XFinLabs builds private AI for enterprise data rooms. We started in financial services and now serve firms across PE, VC, law, audit, and corporate dev — anywhere a team needs to analyze proprietary data without compromising privacy, audit, or control.
Why we started this.
Before XFinLabs, we were the buyers. We ran diligence on hundreds of companies, drafted thousands of memos, and watched the same patterns repeat — analysts buried in data rooms, partners waiting for the work to surface, the most consequential decisions made on the thinnest evidence.
When generative AI matured, we saw the answer — but also saw that nothing in market was built for our world. The tools were generic. Privacy was an afterthought. And the workflows had nothing to do with how a deal team actually moves.
So we built it. And then a funny thing happened: law firms looked at it and saw their disclosure problem. Audit teams saw their evidence problem. Corporate development saw their bolt-on problem. Same private platform, configured for the way each firm works.
XFinLabs is engineering for the proprietary analysis enterprises actually do — with the privacy, audit, and institutional discipline the work demands.
Our founders.

Zach Adams
Founder & CEO
Zach didn't come to AI looking for a product idea; he came to it carrying a frustration. Years inside financial services — building data-driven products and running the kind of analysis that decisions actually ride on — taught him that the bottleneck was never intelligence or effort. It was the room: thousands of documents, a handful of analysts, and a clock. When generative AI arrived, most of the market raced to build tools that could answer anything. Zach was more interested in a narrower, harder question — could a firm trust an answer drawn from its own documents, privately, with the evidence attached? XFinLabs is his answer to that question, and as CEO he holds the product to the standard he once held his own teams to: if it wouldn't survive a partner's scrutiny, it doesn't ship.

Brent McKendry
Founder & CTO
Brent brings multiple successful exits and deep financial-services experience to the hardest part of private AI: making it work in production, on a firm's own infrastructure, under real scrutiny. He owns the architecture behind XFinLabs' single-tenant deployments, the retrieval and citation pipeline that ties every answer back to its source, and the audit ledger that lets a firm prove how a conclusion was reached. He's built and led high-performance engineering teams before, and he runs this one on the principle that the person who ships a system is the person responsible for it. The result is a platform that treats privacy and traceability as architecture, not features bolted on at the end.
We're hiring.
Engineering, applied AI, customer engineering, and account management — open across Orlando, Asheville, and remote.
- Senior Software Engineer, PlatformEngineering · Asheville, NC · Orlando, FL · Remote — You ship real surfaces — single-tenant deployments, the audit ledger, the citation pipeline — and you keep them healthy in production. We do not have engineers who build a system and hand it off; the person who shipped it answers the page at 2am. Bring a high tolerance for being responsible for what you built.
- Applied AI EngineerEngineering · Orlando, FL · Remote — Sit between the model and the firm. You design the prompts, personas, and retrieval strategies that turn a generic capability into something a PE analyst or a law-firm partner actually trusts on a Friday afternoon. Half quantitative work, half listening to how deal teams talk about a deal.
- Deployment EngineerCustomer Engineering · Orlando, FL · Asheville, NC · Remote (significant travel) — Customers do not need a webinar — they need someone in the room. You go on-site, build the agents and integrations that match how the firm actually works, and stay long enough to see the first analyst use them. The first month of every engagement is your job to make productive.
- Strategic Account Executive, Financial ServicesGo-to-market · Remote (US, with quarterly on-sites) — You own the first conversation with the firms we want to work with — and the relationships that come from them. Most of our buyers came out of finance or law before they ever bought software; that is the room you are selling into. Less pitch, more diligence-grade conversation.
- Enterprise Customer Success ManagerAccount Management · Orlando, FL · Remote — You are who our customers call. The work is not calendar check-ins — it is reading the firm closely enough to notice the workflow they have not asked us to help with yet, and getting in front of it. Expansion happens because the partnership is real, not because we ran a renewal play.
- Solutions Architect, Pre-salesAccount Management · Asheville, NC · Orlando, FL · Remote — The technical voice in the room when a prospect's infosec, IT, and CTO are deciding whether to put us in their environment. You design the deployment, run the demo on the firm's own data, and field the kind of question that closes — or kills — an enterprise procurement cycle.
